How does pickup work for tours?
For private tours, your guide will pick you up directly outside your selected pickup location at the scheduled time. Please be ready on time to ensure a smooth start.
What should I bring on a tour?
We recommend dressing for Icelandic weather, which can change quickly. Wind, sunshine, snow, and rain can all show up in a single day. Warm, layered clothing is especially important during the winter season, and comfortable shoes are essential, as many stops involve short walks on uneven ground.
We’ll make regular stops along the way for food and drinks to keep everyone energized. Some tours include lunch (check the tour inclusions), and if not, we’ll stop at our go-to local spots for a proper bite to eat.
Do tours run in all weather conditions?
Our tours are designed to run in a wide range of conditions. Iceland’s climate can shift quickly, and when it does, parts of a trip may need to be adapted. If that happens, we’ll aim to keep the experience as close to the original plan as possible or offer comparable alternatives.
Challenging weather is part of what makes Iceland unique, and it doesn’t automatically stop us from operating. However, guest and staff safety is always the deciding factor. Wind strength and road safety are closely monitored, and guides may shorten or end a tour if conditions become risky. If a tour cannot continue, a full or partial refund will be applied based on the circumstances.
Can tours be customized?
Yes, private tours can often be tailored to your preferences. If you’d like to adjust stops or timing, please let us know in advance so we can confirm what’s possible.
What is the cancellation policy for tours?
Tours can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
Will I see the Northern Lights on private tours?
The Northern Lights are one of nature’s wild cards, incredible, but never guaranteed. While sightings can’t be promised, we’ll happily point out good viewing areas and keep you informed about solar activity and cloud forecasts to give you the best possible chance.
Should I tip my guide?
Tipping isn’t expected in Iceland, but it’s always appreciated when someone feels their guide went the extra mile. There’s no standard amount, it’s entirely up to you and what feels right. Cash tips are welcome in any currency.

How does the pickup process work at Keflavik International Airport?
Arriving at Keflavík International Airport is easy with us. After collecting your luggage, our driver will be waiting for you in the airport arrivals hall with a sign displaying your name. The driver will monitor your flight, wait up to 75 minutes after your plane has landed, and once you meet, you’ll be taken straight to your accommodation.
How does the pickup process work at Cruise Port?
Our driver will be waiting for you at the cruise terminal arrival hall at the scheduled time, holding a sign with your name. The driver will wait for up to 30 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time, giving you plenty of time to be ready without feeling rushed.
How does the pickup process work at my accommodation?
Our driver will be waiting for you outside your accommodation at the scheduled time, holding a sign with your name. The driver will wait for up to 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time, giving you plenty of time to be ready without feeling rushed.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
No action needed from you. Your driver will monitor your flight information to accommodate any flight delays. Our driver will wait for up to 75 minutes after the plane arrives at the airport.
What happens if I can’t find my driver?
If you don’t see your driver right away, please stay inside the arrivals hall and call us at +354 765 0555. We’ll connect you with the driver instantly and make sure you’re picked up without delay.
How many passengers and how much luggage can you accommodate?
Our sedans are suitable for 1-3 passengers and can accommodate up to 3 large suitcases and 3 carry-on bags.
Our minivans are suitable for 1-7 passengers and can accommodate up to 7 large suitcases and 6 carry-on bags.
Our sprinters are suitable for 1-12 passengers and can accommodate up to 12 large suitcases and 12 carry-on bags.
