Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon
Watch icebergs drift from the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier toward the Atlantic. Seals are often spotted, and the colors range from deep blue to crystal white. Optional boat tours operate in season (not included). Short, flat walks lead to great viewpoints.

Diamond Beach
Just across the road from Jökulsárlón, chunks of ice wash up on the black sand and sparkle like diamonds. It’s a surreal photo stop. Safety note: keep a safe distance from the surf and never climb ice at the waterline- waves and tides change quickly.

Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoon
A quieter sister lagoon with up-close views of a glacier tongue. The shoreline path is an easy stroll to superb photo spots; optional zodiac boats may run in season (not included).
Vatnajökull National Park
Home to Europe’s largest ice cap and dramatic volcanic landscapes. Around Skaftafell you’ll find glacier views, ash-streaked ice, and well-marked trails. Visitor centers offer restrooms, maps, and weather updates.

Vík Village
A coastal village framed by the Reynisdrangar sea stacks. Walk up to the hilltop church for postcard views and stop for coffee or a bite (at your own expense).

Skógafoss
One of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls- a 82-foot (25 m) wide curtain dropping about 200 feet (60 m). Climb the staircase for sweeping views; on sunny days, rainbows often arc through the mist.
